Upgrade to Bigger tank

I curruntly have 37 gallon and about to upgrade 72gallon..

what should I do with about 30 gallon water that will be added..

should i just make the water?

what would you do?..

i have sps, zoa, mushroom..and about 60 lbs of live rock..

just make a fresh batch of saltwater that you'll need to fill up the rest of the 72..

...so add the 30g and make a fresh batch of saltwater that you'll need to fill up the rest of the 72....

i was afraid that coral gets stunned by new enviorment ..

i will try to add water slowly...5 gallon per day or something..

Just match the PH, Alk, CA etc to your existing water and you will be fine.

you could always replace 30 gallons water with new water in your existing system over time while adding the old water to the 72. then add the whole thing to the 72 after. seems less stressful/equally complicated.

Current Tank Info: 120gal 500w MH 10K XMs 30g sump, MSX-200 skimmer, vortech MP40w and Tunze nanostreams; 9 gal, 29gal FW planted tanks
