I have been looking for awhile and would like to keep it around 500 - 700 bucks.
I am looking for something that runs quietly and I definitely would like one that can cool and heat. Hope to see some good siggestions as the weather is getting hot.

Does your JBJ come with built in controller? And do you run any heaters with it?

yes it come with a built in controller, I have a heater but it almosts never comes on, my chiller only come on maybe 2 or Three times a day, the key it to make sure you do not undersize your tank, if you do it would run all the time.

How long have you had your JBJ? Can you speak towards other units as far as the amount of heat it is giving off?

had mine over a year, cant speak for the others, never had any problems with mine as far as the amount of heat it gives off which is a good reason not to undersize or it would exhast heat more often, on mine I never notice it but then again mine does not run much, but yes all chillers has to exhast heat some where mine is out the back I have known people that put a custom duct on their unit and exhast the heat outside or down in the garage.
