At Walmart, there is a kiosk with bottled water: that is the one to get, not the water from off the shelf.

Hydor is making really nice heaters that are inline they plug right into your tubing running from your filter you just cut out a small piece of tubing from your filter and hook the heater to your open cut pieces as for your water I wouldn't use bottled water when i started out i had a bad experience. most local fish stores will sell RO/DI water by the gallon. most the time it is cheaper being only a dollar a gallon so it may save you some cash as well which is always a bonus
Hope that helps Josh, Boston

Visa-Stealth are good, and I use the bottled DISTILLED water from wal-mart, .62 cents a gallon, and you can't get any purer. 0 TDS. It's the store brand labled Sodium Free Distilled Water.

Finnex Titanium heaters with the 0800 Controller. You can get them on http;//premiumaquatics.com They are the best heaters.
Buy a RO/DI. I did the math when I set up my 40g tank (total volume of 40g, no sump)... The RO/DI was $100 and buying water was $.39/gal.. It came out to be less than 9 months to pay for itself... not to mention after I added my sump and my MH (more evaporation) it went way less than 9 months. |
