Coraline algae question
I have a lot of really good coraline algae growth on all my rocks and new spots constantly showing up on the glass all the time. I was looking at my tank yesterday and realized though, that all the areas of rock that get direct light, have no coraline growth on them, while every slightly shaded area is nearly completely covered. Does anybody know the reason for this? I only have 2 96 W Sunpaq PCs over the tank that were new in February. One is a 10,000k/ 6700k, and the other is 6700k/ 460 actinic.

because coraline likes low light, if you left lights off for a month you would be covered everywhere.
