Sorry these pics aren't that great. I've seen it twice in 2 days now. Yesterday was the first time I'd ever seen it. Haven't added anything new to my tank in a number of months.
Almost as big around as a penny but shaped more like an oval.

whew...was worried it was some freakish isopod or something weird.

Just not sure where it came from. As I said before- just saw it for the first time yesterday.
