Pumps For Closed Loop System?

WANT TO DO A CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM ON A 75AGA RR TANK AND WANTED TO HEAR WHAT PUMPS WOULD BE GOOD FOR THIS SYSTEM WITH A 29GAL SUMP!

sequence...Dart...or maybe the new one that is slighty smaller...i forget the name, but its pushes 2400gph@zero head and consumes something like 95 watts...

The brand name is Sequence...you can find them at most online stores...

They are highly recommended. Extremely quiet and very efficient. They are flow pumps, not pressure pumps.

If thats too much flow for you, you can always use something like a Pan World or Iwaki pump. They have flow models also--example Pan World 100px-x.

1 or 2 pumps of the sequence or 1-2 of the other?

looks like a great pump always read people using them in rc but never known anyone that has used one

Only 1 pump should be sufficient for a closed loop on a 75. The Sequence Snapper would be good, that would give you 32x turn over per hour, plus whatever you get from your return. The Dart would give 48x turn over...also good.

yeah that where i have mainly seen them is dart the other pump you were refering to?

I can't do all the research for you, hahaha...look around, or do a search. Pan Workd and Iwaki and very well known, good quality pumps. I have 1 of each, love them both.

Dart is the name of a pump, in the Reeflo series of pumps, which are sold under the brand name of Sequence, made by a company called MDM out in Colorado.
