mh burn in time
i bought a used mh lighting retro set up back in oct and now its time to replace the bulbs. my qustion is ,do i need to "break in" the new bulbs first or do i plug and play?
the are 20k 250watt SE XM bulbs 3 of them. -jesse |

Plug and play works fine the bulbs should only take a week or so to burn in so you shouldnt see any ill effects from the burn in time.

Ditto to what Ti just said which could be anywhere from 1 to 2-1/2 weeks depending on how many hours you run them.

so during this burn in time it ont hurt any of my corals? i have a mixed tank of SPS and LPS.

Nope. You will be just fine. You may even notice excellerated growth during that time since the lights are new.
