still can't take a good pic...is this camera good enough?

They've been so bad that I've never posted.
Olympus D-520 zoom camedia
2.0 megapixel
Is there something I'm missing? I don't really know what to do with the settings?

Well, your Megapix count is kinda low. A cheap cell phone camera is .3, a nice PDA phone w/camera is 1.3 Megapix, so 2 Megapix isn't all that hot.

As for settings, can you tell us more about the results you are getting?

Blurry? Grainy? Can't get the colors (blues)? At what resolution do your pics come out?

I had the worst time w/my HP camera until I realized that I had it set for landscapes, not close-ups; wrong focal legnth.

Everything looks blurry. When I see pics posted, they are clear and focused. My pics do not give the definitive lines of the LR or a clear image of corals...everything seems blended and the color isn't crisp.

there isn't a macro/flower icon or a a/s/m setting. I'm not sure what setting will work.
