filter change

i have two milliunium filters on my tank i have a fluval that i have been using which cycled the tank but starting leakin, can i take the ceramic balls out of the fluval which hold all the bacteria and put them in the two milluimmiun filters, like whrer the bacteria traps are that come with the filters, would that be bad.????

you could do this, but it may slow or clog the filter which will build up nitrates. Do you have any live rock in your tank? How much? Are your nitrates high? Do you have a protein skimmer? A sump? A refugium?? How many fish do you have and in what tank??

the nitrates are starting to rise and the ammonia is rising also...i dont have live rock i have a bed of live sand...and i have a few damesels and 2 triggers{bursa,niger}should i move the triggers into another tank....the one i have been using is a 65 gallon
