southdown sand or aragonite sand source?

i am looking for up to maybe 20 cubic feet of southdown sand or other aragonite sand.

where in So Cal can i get it? or shipped wholesale?

arag-alive is my choice. they have a site but you cant order it direct. need a retailer, of course. ive heard nightmares from downsouth as far as cycling taking forever and staying cloudy for 3-4 days or up to 2 weeks. REEF-ON!!!

Current Tank Info: SPS dominated barebottom display with BB sump since 2005, most consistant parameters in 19+ years of reefkeeping.

I would never do southdown again. Its too fine and it blows everywhere.

Southdown sux! It is so fine no critters can live in it. I would only use it in a sump and only if I had another refugium with coarse sand for pods to live in

try the dry sand in the 40lb bags at marine depot
