*been ouf the scene for a year or so now * what's a good upgrade?

I've been out the scene for a while, but jumping back in now. I'm wondering what upgrades or possible solutions I can take for my tank.

Right now, I've still been battling algae. I've decided to pump a bit more flow and rearrange the tank a bit.

My tank seems to be lacking flow towards the lower part, middle of the tank. I suspect it to have some dead spots and accrual of debris and detrius.

I've gone barebottom, just a few spots w/ sand. I also have a tunze and 2 power heads.

Any ideas? Any new pumps out?

I dont wanan turn over my tank crazily and shred it though.

What kind of Algae? Algae need nutrients and light. I would focus on your filtration and water changes IMHO, since it sounds like you've had algae problems for a while. More flow is usually a good thing tho.
