How long has this new design been around. I went to a different lfs today and picked up a bucket. Wow this new design is so easy to use, seel, and open.
Horay!!

Sounds like the one right before the hammer one, about a year or more ago. It was a great lid but for some reason they went to the new one with the hammer needed to open it

I just dont close my old IO buckets too tight, so i dont have to bust out the hammer.
Still seals it. ..and so much better than that POS bucket Tropic Marin Pro comes in. I just re-use these nice IO buckets and pour my TMP into it. You'd think for 2x the price they'd include something better than a thin bag and cheap plastic tie! |

that is exactly what i do ^^ only i dont not use tropic marin pro. I just close my IO bucket tight enough to seal, but not tight enough that i have to put it in a vice and use the hammer...
