What has changed in 1yr??

Sup guys

I used to be hardcore into my reef tanks, working at a fish store, owning tanks, ect..

Sadly i had to move, so me being 19 moving into a house with my buddy, i want to set up a 75 gallon reef tank and just wanted to know if anything has changed drastically that i need to know about.?

75 tank stand and canopy custom made

30gal sump setup with refugium and skimmer and return pump
250 titanium heater

2-250 watt halides 10k

2 or 4- vhos actinic ran of icecap ballest

i wanna have 80% sps in the tank.

thanx guyz let me know is theres anything i am missing, i wanna do this right which sadly means money isnt the problem, i will work more to make this tank look right!

chris

If your going to keep sps or clams I highly recommend that you get a halide kit if you can fit it in your canopy other than that the options are really up to you
chiller
calc. reactor
but for a small system and low electric bill I would only add halides
hope that helps
Josh

Yeah, not much has changed here either except that some reefers now make better use of Cannabis Sativa and its primary active chemical TetraHydroCannabinol

How about T5s instead of the VHO? The bulbs last longer.

80% sps... you're probably gonna need a Ca reactor.... otherwise you'll be spending a fortune in supplements.

You're gonna need more flow too, otherwise your setup looks good...
