My Setup
hi everyone i am so happy to have finally received my new tank and gear. I have a six foot X 2 X 2 main tank with a three foot sump/trickle filter.
I have included a couple of pics and need some feedback on my sump. I have a grafity feed system with two outlits and then one return. The sump was designed so the water comes in beside the skimmer, however i was thinking of letting it flow over some wool and then trickle through the bio cubs. Due to not a lot of room for another pump in the first chamber I intended to pump water for the return zone up into the uv steriliser from another pump would this be ok? any feedback or comments would be great. very excited |

I wouldn't recommend the bio balls or the filterfloss unless you are planning on a fish only tank. They are a nitrate factory. The skimmer and LR is all you really need for filtration. I would try to set up or partition an area for some cheato though if you have the space. Other than that, Looks great!
