O.K., I'll be quick. Dont waste your time.

I dosed for 6 weeks with no benefit other than me getting drunk. I was up to 8 ml per day when I stopped.

OK OK here is the proper way......

Take 3 oz. Grey Goose and 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice.

Add to shacker and shake vigorously to bruise the drink. Poor into large Martini galss and walla.... Take 3 of these and
YOUR TANK HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER !

SMARTBUTTS lol I thought the idea of dosing vodka was really bad. but i had a bad nirtrate spike.

look up azno3 before you start adding vodka. Its the same idea as vodka. so b careful. you start off with 2 drops first day, and work your way up to 8 ml

i think marine depot sells it.

btw... works REALLY good. but you must have a skimmer. (it turns nitrates into a property that the skimmer can and does remove

Yes AZ-No3 works good............ if.........you have a great skimmer. Also it might help if you told us where you're at and what you want to accomplish. I used a whole bottle of AZ-NO3 with nitrates at 80 ppm and it didnt put a dent in it. I think that stuff works ok if you're say 30 and below and want to get it down.

We tend to have fun joking about vodka. Seriously, it has worked for some.....and not others.

I personally think its not worth the risk.

If you are having problems with PO4 and nitrates, I think good husbandry, water changes and growing macroalgae is a much safer way to reduce these problems.

I recently put some chaeto in my tank and within 2 weeks, my Po4 went from 1.5 ppm to .2 ppm.
