Crab Catching Problem
I think I have, Black Fingered Mud crab - Xanthid crab. I am not quite sure ... but I don't think I want to take any chances.
How do I catch them? Used to take LR out of tank and use a forcep to pinch them out ... Most crabs are in my sump ... LOL But there is 2 (or more - i think) that I couldn't catch. Anyone got any ideas how to get the buggers out???? Thanks a million

I've used a glass Mayo jar.
Lean the jar against the rock near the crabs hole. (No lid) put some food in the jar. Wait overnight...Crab will crawl in and will not be able to crawl out. Works great! HTH |
