ok yuma come off of its rock ( new yuma. i had it under a net for a few days and i thought it was on there well since i removed the net and it stayed on for all day yesterday
well today its compleatly gone i checked all of the areas that stuff settels in i checked in as many of the rock works holes as i could without tearing the tnak apart my question is will the yuma attack to a rock in the dark and can they walk to aspot they like more should i be worried or should i just feed the tank heavily and hope the yuma gets some ( blast food into the rocks) will it work its way back out or is it as good as dead? |

it will find a place it likes, and take hold. most the time its in the back of the tank on the bottom of the rock where nothing can see it but the snail or two that passes by.

but if its in the rock where there is no light is my worry
im not sure how well these things move on there own but i do know stuff settles in the senter of my rocks how long will it be able to go with out light? ( wouldent it be cool to see that it ended up attaching to a snail or somthing lol) btw my water is fine. salinity ok. everything is ok as far as i can tell ( xenia happy other ricordia happy and frogspawn is looking better everyday. ) altho i am starting to get cyno (you know.. all new tanks get that) but since i planned ahead for it isnt growing fast and is only on one area ![]() i think the yuma may of hated the light or the current . ( 770 watts of light and he was on the very bottom of the tank. as for current he was in the dead center of the tank were the current is the most random..... really should put some sps in that spot) |
