more than 1 emerald crab?
Can you have more than 1 emerald crab in a tank? its a 90g with 120ish pounds of live rock. I have 1 emerald crab in there now and would like to add another, is this ok?

Be carefull, my emeralds started getting big and going after my corals so now they are in the refugiums.

I've got two in a 55G with no problems. They are normally both in the same area of the tank.

normally i say stick with 1 per 25g. if you have females, you can have even more. the females dont get as big as the males. just make sure to feed them about once a week. i feed mine algae strips. about a 1x2" sqaure 1-2 times a week. keeps them from hunting somethine new to try. they still keep the algae in the tank under control as well.

I have had different experiences. IME, once they get larger, it is best to only have one unless your tank is substantially large. Even then, they will often kill each other.
