TUNZE Osmolator Universal 3155 top off system

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with the Tunze Osmolator Universal 3155 top off system? Is it good? bad?
Do the snail or crabs ever crawl on it and cause a malfunction? I have to put this in my 29 gallon aquarium. I do not have a sump.
Please give me your opinions. I am considering the JBJ auto topoff and the Tunze topoff system. Which one should I buy?

I have one and think it is the best auto top off available...it uses a sensor with no moving parts to detect the water...I have never had a snail or crab get near it as it is in the return portion of my sump

Top-Off

One of my tanks has the tunze, the other the AM top-off.

The tunze osmolator rocks, with 2 sensors, a controller with alarm, and included pump. It's hard to beat quality/feature wise.

It uses infra red sensors to detect water level. I would definitely get Roger's opinion in the Tunze forum.

BTW, I have one and will be buying another one when I move my FO tanks upstairs. Awesome piece of equipment!
