Question Which snail?

Which snail is better? Nassaurius vibex or Ilyanssa Obsoleta. I need to get more to stir my sand bed. I just recieved 25 Nass. but i qiuckly realized that wasn't near enough. The Ilyanssa are alot cheaper than the Nass. but are they just as good. I was thinking about getting between 100-200.

Nassaurius vibex come from the warm waters, therefore they will live longer in your tank. Ilyanssa Obsoleta are from cooler waters, often off the Eastcoast of the US. these will live for awhile in your tank but not a full life. theres many other arguements about these two snails, but i will stick with the Vibex myself.

I even own Ilyanassa obsoleta and say Nassarius vibex are better. They tend to be a little more active as well as the facts stated above. Regardless, both snails are good. Mine seem to do pretty well in 80-82ºF temperatures and have been that way for a year. I've even found Ilyanassa obsoleta eggs.

Do you think the Vibexs are worth extra money? They are about 5 time as much on ebay.

Is ebay the best price to buy from. I found them 100 for $75+ shipping.
