Idea to link 125 and 150 gallon aquariums?

I am keeping 2 saltwater tanks, one fish only 125 and one 150 reef.

For the fish only I plan to get one grouper, one trigger and one snowflake eel.
For the 125 gallon tank it is not going to have a huge bioload for its volume so little nitrates will get produced.

Now I want to connect both the systems so I would have a 360 gallon system including the sumps and the refugium.

Good idea to dilute bad stuff or will it make things worse for my reef.

I also dont like the look cualerpa on a reef so I was planning on keeping it in the fish only tank to reduce fertilizers.

What do you guys think of this?

Yae or Nae
