used MH bulb
Hey guys. What do you do with your used MH bult? Trash? Is kinda painful throwing it away. Let me know thanks

Put it for sale in the classified section for next to nothing so somebody has a chance to get into the hobby for a little cheaper. I realize the bulb is used and won't work for you anymore but the bulb still works, right? There are lots of people that just can't get into this hobby due to money. Just have somebody pay shipping that way you have helped out a fellow reefer. And please people, don't thrash on me about how the spectrum will be out of whack and it won't work. It will work fine for people with a very limited budget. Cheers

I actually just bought 2 used MH bulbs on the selling forum. I recently purchased some used ballasts and reflectors and just needed some bulbs to test the equipment. I did not want to buy new bulbs yet because I have not decided on what spectrum or bulb I will use.
