Film on inside of acrylic tank.. Safe to rub off with fingers?
Just curious if it's okay to rub off a film in my tank with my fingers.. Any risk of scratching or maring? I'm new to acrylic and do not know how sensitive it is and don't really want to test ..
I did a small test just to see if the film was easily rubbed off and it is.. It's from when I was filling the tank and had one bag of sand in th tank before filling it with water.. so as I filled with water there was a foam on the top of the water that made a film on the inside of the tank as i filled and stopped, filled and stopped, etc. Thanks |

Thanks.. I am just really paranoid about scratching my acrylic.. I got it custom made and its super nice, and I want to do everything I can to keep it scratch free.. I was VERY careful putting in the rock and just want to do everything right.. I guess acrylic is more resistant than I thought, just can't get too careless with scrapers and the like or you will get them..
