Snowflake eel not eating!?!?

Hey guys, I caught a snowlfake eel about 3 weeks ago, now going on 4 weeks ago at a local beach. It hasn't eaten anything yet since I got it. I've tried small pieces of shrimp I got at the supermarket, but it dosen't take it. It just stays in a rock (cave) in my tank and only peaks its head out from time to time, but never swims around. What sould I feed it. I don't want it to starve or anything. Please help.....

try feeding it live glass shrimp, or some other small crustaceans. it probably has no idea what a piece of shrimp is and wont recognize it as food.

e46mpower at most times one can be lucky that their eel would feed in a madder of days to where as mnay wouldn`t feed for weeks before they take their first bite.

Also if you any source for live crab, this would be more ideal for it to want to feed. Being that you a ocean at your door it seems

I think I remember reading somewhere that they can go on hunger strikes for a couple of months, but should eventually come around. Try reading on wetwebmedia.com.
