Ya I realized that night that the bulkheads for the return were 1/2 inch, not 3/4 inch, so we sanded them down into the bulkheads could slide in, boy was that a pain
I made the Durso Standpipes, they are working out quite well, I'm happy G-4 plus skimmer, it's still not skimming like anything and it's been 4 weeks, it's in 13.5 inches of water but somebody told me thats ok, I might need to change that...somehow I had to go insane in the membrane with all the adapters to do things the way i wanted |

I connected the large pieces of rock and the corals by drilling 3/8 inch holes all over the rock that fitting plastic coat hanger pieces in between them and fastening with that hold fast stuff. It was cool because I got the rock the way I wanted it, not the one way crap can fit without a hermit crab taking the tank down. Also when I'm away at college and I come home all my corals are dead in the sand so this way they might not fall as much
IMG]http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i227/BigWaz1004/DSC03258.jpg[/IMG] left side middle right side The hippo tang is doing quite well for the big change And Cleo the Cat is enjoying the tank also, I don't have a mermaid, I have a mercat....((sigh)) I should of took a picture of Cleo in the tank from the start, she did jump in it at one point, that would of been funny |

Dude,
Nice job on the tank. I know that it took a little while to get it all to come together but your patience paid off. The tank looks awesome. I especially like the arch. Nice touch.

Tank looks great! Nice job plumbing and aquascaping! I am also doing an upgrade and your idea with the plastic coat hangers sounds like it will solve alot of problems. What exactly was the name of that glue and where did you get it?

thanks guys. the epoxy is called Holdfast, F and F has it I believe, but it was the coat hanger pieces that really hold it toegther, the epoxy is mainly there so you can't see the coat hangers as much and to make sure. I'm loving the arch look myself, it's funny watching the hermits go on the arch journey.
