Colt coral not looking good

I've got two really nice sized colt corals mounted on a rock that I've had for roughly 6 month. They've grown and attached to other rocks and have been really great. A few weeks back I notice the tops turning a little white. Now a lot of the top is turning white on them and they're not extending.

There are some green mushrooms that have multiplied like crazy and 2 have somewhat encroached near them but they seemed to be handling it. I ripped the one mushoom that was nearest to them out today.

Also, can bubble algae have a negative impact on them? I haven't had any bubble algae in my tank and then I noticed today there is one bubble of it about half an inch wide behind one of them. It's got to be the biggest one I've ever seen. Could this be affecting it and how do you remove it?
