SPS and T5's

I am really considering in getting a 8x39wat retro kit from reefgeek.
What will be my limitation in getting this lighting, meaning which are the sps that I will not be able to have?
I keep reading that I should not have a problem keeping a clam in the bottom, is this true?

Sorry so many questions, I just want to make sure that I am making the right move on not having any MH.

If there is anyone that has a T5 only setup and keeps SPS and LPS with no problem, Please give me some advice.

Thanks

i ran 4 54w t5 on IC 660 ballast over my 90gal, was 24" tall too. i kept a big clam on the bottom. here is an old pic of it, had sps down low too. growth was good, but now that i went MH growth is crazy good. i have a millepora that would not grow at all under the t5 or the 250w mh, when i went to 400w mh new axial polyps started growing within a week.

90g t5

i wont show you a pic of the 400w setup as you wont want the t5s anymore.

Great Thank you! Zapata

That was what I was looking for. Thanx for the pic.
It looks good with the T5 but that was exactly what I was thinking it was going to happen me too.
regret giving up my MH
