I have two wavebox on my 8' tank. I do have large overflows on in the corners and this decreases wave height a little. They do move alot of water. Mine are located on the same end of the tank, but you can run them on oppisiste ends as long as you switch the internal seting. They will run oppisite each other this way. Love mine, except the price. If you have a euro braced tank or one with trim around the top make sure to get the magnet holders. The mounting kit won't work it you have any projection from the sides of the tank. It does take some time to get the frequency set to produce the wave.Plan on spending around an hour.

On a 125, you only need one wavebox. You do also need some sort of other random flow in the tank. Either a couple streams, or an ocean motion type device.
