quarantine tanks

Heres a quickie - Simple small tank with a sponge filter. You can seed the sponge in your main tank until you need it. PVC for hiding spots. Alot of water changes and I use the water from my main tank. I use a pengiun filter(w/o filter) for water movement. I take it down when not in use.

There are alot of post around here all about QT's

Here's one of the better QT threads ... author is a clownfish breeder who uses hypo as std procedure during QT (good idea but not mandatory) - I have used most of his procedures for yrs and think his general concepts are right on the money ... worth a read.
