I have one, but I took out all the media that came with it and now just run a big bag of carbon in it.

Forget the fuge, just use it to run carbon or phos remover, its too small to have much effect.

in a 29g tank, the 110 turned fuge would have an impact.

here's the thread from the Nano forum that discusses the Aqua Clear modification to turn it into a refugium. i did it, took all of a couple hours, and waiting a few days for the silicone to dry/cure. HTH. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...=how+to+DIY+an

forgot to mention, this is the only filter i'm running on my 10 gallon nano. the tank isn't stocked yet (only sand and live rock), but i can see a good number of pods in the filter each night.

i goofed. i modded the AC 70 for my tank, not the 110.

you can mod the AC 110 the same way as the AC 70, the only difference is the AC 110 won't accomodate the smaller impellars of the AC 20, 30, and 50, like the AC 70 will.
