Do they perform the same function?
Will the moonlite led's do for corals what the actinocs do or, are they just another transitional lite for nite viewing people? |

They simulate the moons glow.And they`re also great for night viewing of Your tank.

That's a givin BUT.... do they work for corals the same way as (can they replace) actinics?

No they can't replace actinics, they are only to replicate a natural light at night. They aren't intense enough( as far as wattage goes) to be the only source of actinic light for your tank.

you wont see them on when your running your daylights, whilst your actinics lights will typically be strong enough to accent your tank's light scheme....
