New tank, Bleached Buttons?

Excuse the algae, , the tank is only 3 weeks old.
One rock came w/ quite a few button polyps on it. Because of the shape of the rock I use it for a overhang/cave as you'll see in the second pic.

Looks like the buttons toward the bottom right are dong well but those are top not so. Is this what "bleaching" is? If so what can I do for them?

You could try shading them for a while, or moving the lights up a bit to give them a chance to acclimate. I'm not sure I'd worry very much, though, since zoanthids seem to be resilient and spread easily.

I did move my lights up but only about 2". I broke one of those plastic legs so I installed a shelf bracket and used a 12" bracket to set the light's on. At least now I can slide them forward to get them out of the way.

I'll throw something over the eggcrate to shade them for a while.

Thanks bertoni who've helped me already a couple times in my short reefing experience.

You're welcome. Sound like a good plan.
