Question advice on kalk reactor setup

Hey guys I am looking into setting up a kalk reactor on my tank. And am wondering if I can hook it up to my RO-DI unit since it has an auto shut off valve. And have the reactor tied to my sump through a float valve. Anyone doing this? Or have better suggestions?? Any pictures of setups would be great too. Thanks!

ro/di hooked to your tank is a bad thing i hear of atleast 1-2 people nuking there tank with that setup

hook the kaslk reactor to a dosing pump so you can regulate how much water is being forced threw the unit

I use a tunze osmolator with a duck bill type check valve between the osmolator pump & the kalk reactor(keeps the kalk from back feeding to the pump & ro/di water supply). The osmolator pump sits in a large ro/di water container (large enough to go on vacation for a week without running dry). The ozmolator optical sensor keeps the water level very precise in the sump or tank, thus adding only small additions of kalwasser at a time (minimal PH swings).
