How do you feed favia and when do you feed them

My favia appears sick and the outer edges of skeleton are dying and working its way in. I just switched to T5 lights to help but have not figured what to feed this guy in 5 months except PC light. My fungia plate eats pelltet food? Not sure when to feed them either or what and how?

That article has information on corals and how to make a food for them. I think the Favia spp corals are likely to feed at night, so you could try spot-feeding them (with a turkey baster) when their tentacles are extended. Any reasonable fish food of the appropriate size should be a good first guess.
