Leary about droppin this worm in...
Hey all,
I know the chance of getting a bad worm in your tank are very slim, but I am not sure whether to put this guy in or not. It hitchiked on a rather large coral I just bought and fell off when I removed the coral from a the drip acclimation bucket. It does not look like your average small bristle worm. It's about 6" or longer, so its a big guy and about .5 - 1cm wide. the legs are yellowish. It does not have the typical half red half black of my bristleworms, its a solid grayish color with kindof a red border around the outside of the body. I can't get a pic tonight but would like to put it in. I have never seen a worm this big and my tank and know the nasty little things can be super beneficial. Jarrid P.S - Yes I know a pic would help

You could put it in your sump or refugium for now. I've had some large ones like that, and trust me, they grow larger.

Well right now he is in a bucket. He is going to be difficult to get out of my large crowded sump if he is ok, so in this bucket he will remain until I can get a picture I guess.
