I'm building this sump from a 50 gallon 36''Lx18"H x18"W AGA tank.
I was trying to get some good reefers with experience to build me a acrylic sump but to no availability they most be very busy ,so I will build it my self

Wait....if you are using a tank that is 36" long, you have to leave enough room for your skimmer too. You'll probably want to keep the refugium section rather narrow, like 8" wide or so. That leaves you with 12" for the skimmer and 12" for the return plus your bubble trap baffles.

Thanks Marc. No skimmer in the sump the skimmer is outside the stand just overflows in the sump.

So will you have the skimmer draining into the sump?

Okay, reduce the section where the tank drains into, as well as your skimmer. I'd make this section 8" wide, and increase the refugium to 12" wide and the return should stay 12" wide.

Steve, did you get the top of the panels polished so you won't get cut working in the sump? How thick is the glass?

Nice job.

Done.

The tank drains here and the skimmer drains in the second compartment so the skimmer gets first dirty water.
