tank lid/top
Several of the fish I am thinking about adding to my 58 gal tank may be "jumpers". Other than the standard glass top, what other kinds of lids are effective to prevent fish from taking the the leap of death. I want something that won't detract from the appearance of the tank. Suggestions? Thanks

I use eggcrate (also known as light diffuser) which is sold at Home Depot, Lowes, etc..., and cut it to fit. No jumpers since.

You can go to the local hardware store and look for Light Diffuser (AKA Eggcrate). Just cut it to the size you need and place over it. Plus there is a diffuser and focusing side. If you have it one way, you diffuse the light. If you flip it over, it will focus the light.

tank lids
Dos the eggcrate reduce the light? What about using some nylon netting?
