Maintain alk, magnesium, calcium at proper levels, and keep phospates low to undetectable.

first, how many watts of light are the pcs? and what spectrum are they and the metal halide (as in 10000K, 14000K, etc...) Also, i'm not sure on the yellow light, but all that i have seen dont give out any good light so that probably wont aid any (unless it actually is a 10K bulb of adiquate wattage) same with the MH...you say industrial...meaning like the ones they use on streetlamps? If so, hopefully you're using an aquairium bulb on it, as the others would be pretty much useless.

second, you need to test for calcium i think. I'm pretty sure i read somwhere that they need calcium....oceanic tho is known for havign high calcium (or is it low in it? i cant remember)...anyways, i just switched away from oceanic last week, and i dont know if it was do to switching salts or what, but i've now got coraline starting. I switched to IO which i already like way more, for a number of reasons but thats not for this thread.

hth
