is this too many snails [pic inside] and what kind?

Click to make larger. What kind are they? I have never purchased any snails before. More and more keep in apparing. That is when I don't clean my glass for a WEEK! Every day a clean off at least 50 |

No it looks like you have pleanty to me. More than likely your snails are reproducing and thats why you are seeing more and more.

I forget what they are called but they are great. Ya can't have too many. I would clean the glass and that way they will work on your rock where ya need 'em.

You certainly are in a position to start selling a few snail-packs. I believe those are strombus grazers, relative of the big strombi, the conchs. They reproduce in reefs quite happily and survive very well in harsh conditions. They also spin silk to lower themselves off rock.
