Which ASM for 50 gal?

I'm setting up a 50 gal and I have decided to go with an ASM skimmer. I've run G3s and G4s on larger systems with a lot of success. Has anyone run the G1x or the G2? Are they worth it or should I just go and get a G3?

Thanks,

Tim

I know someone with a g2 on there 58 and I bought a g3 off of a guy that was breaking his 50 down, and another guy uses a g3 on his 55, but is breaking down and using it on a 30 cube. I am going to use the g3 on my 50 and when i want talking with everyone about getting my stuff setup i was told to go with the g3. They kept saying that for the little extra it costs you get so much better preformance.
