Bubble rising from sand

Ever since I installed my new MH and T5 lighting about 3 weeks ago,
I've noticed little bubbles rising from the sand continuously.
They also seem to be forming on some of the live rock.
Anybody ever had this happen to them? Is this normal/abnormal?

I don't have any cyano or diatom algae in the tank, at least none that I've noticed.
Anyone else have an opinion?

If I remember correctly, its nitrogenous gas rising out of the sand bed. I cant remember the reasoning, but its supposed to be a good sign that your sand bed is working.

would not worry unless its in large amounts. totally normal. part of the nitrogen cycle inwhich bacterea turns waste into nitrogenous gas like secrest stated.
