Changed substrate
I changed my substrate (didnt like the fine sand too messy always floating around ) SO i went to a coarser sand which i like its been 2 weeks since i did, havent had a cycle which is good. but am starting to get a brown algae and some cyano starting. I am assuming this is because of the change but am wonderin what to do? Should i suck it off the rocks and gravel or just let it be?

You could just ignore it for a while and see whether it goes away on its own. Often, such blooms do. Do you have any cleanup crew in the tank?

ya i have a small clean up crew in the tank 125 gallon with about 50 crabs and 20 snails. Do you think increasing the clean up would be good ( i know i have to eventually) only a few fish in right now

That might be enough cleanup crew for a long time. Actually, I suspect the crabs (hermit crabs?) will need some supplemental food. A few cerith snails, if you don't already have some, often do well with sandbeds.
