Brown Algee????????????????????
I am going to check out some live rock but the lady says she has brown algee in her tank mostly on the glass. Does this rate a concern with her live rock?

Brown algae is usualy due to high phosphate levels and using tape water. Give the rock a good rinse in saltwater to rid it of any built up debree(sp) and it should be fine.

also to get rid of the stuff, leave your tank to some one else to look after and go to sea world lol...i did that and i just got back...no algae whatsoever and there was a ton before.
no actually it wasnt fed at all while i was gone cuz there was no fish, and i added some snails too..ceriths and nassarius.
