Acrylic Tank Users - What do you clean your tank with?
I have a Kent ProScraper with the plastic "acrylic safe" attachment that works great on the front of my tank, but it doesn't work on my rounded corners or under powerheads, etc. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to clean these hard-to-reach areas? I would appreciate any input.
Also, the algae on my glass is very hard to remove, it's green (not solid but miniscule splotches) and almost coralline algae-like algae, but its not green coralline algae...does anyone know what this is?

Have you tried an algae pad for acrylic tanks. This does the trick for my 55. It even removes coraline.

I don't know the exact name of the algae, but I have a few patches of it too and its really hard to get rid of!
Have you tried a credit card yet? |
