72 gallon reef lighting problem

heres the problem, im seting up a new reef tank, 72 gallon bow with 30 gallon refuge.

im deciding on the lighting and im not sure if i wanna just do pc's,

halides, or a combo of halides/pc/vho/t5

my budget is $250
i know not much, but thats all i can spare on lighint, im thinking maybe 20 70 w with pc's but i cant find a cheap enough retrofit fixture. anyone know where i can find one for a good price????

You can try http://www.hamiltontechnology.com
and there is always the cheaper stuff on Aquatraders.com. Hope it leads you the right way.

I have the same tank as yoiu 72 bow front with a 15 gallon sump and 15 gallon fuge. I built a custom rectangluar hood canopy and have 2 250 watt 20K hamilton MH lights. It looks great. Love the blue and pinks. I am planning to install vho and maybe run 14k for better growth and more of a light cycle. The MH have been great for me.

This is $290, but 5 bulb setup over a 72g bow. This is what I have and little heat, but I'm not in Florida...
