Kenya tree needs help ? Anyone with compassion for my weak tree please reply

i put this kenya tree in my fairly new tank about 2 weeks and it was doing fine. Opened fully and was standing tall

But for the past few days it has looked weak and sick and is hanging over all closed up.
I'm not sure what happened but this is my favorite tree :-(

the only thing i have added to the tank over the past few days is a torch coral

any idea of why it took this bad turn and what i can do to help it

its in a place with medium water flow up high next to my coralife delux light.

Its a little hard to comment too much at this point. Have you tested your water lately? If so, how'd it test?

I have a "Kenya" also and it does the same thing once and a while. I have noticed it all droopy and wilted looking, but it always springs back. I have also seen mine appear to shed for a while and then return to normal.

I have had the same experience after changing my main return pump, or moving power heads in the tank, my leathers appear to have to adjust after the flow in the tank changes.. some of my leathers get droopy ,wilty, then shed.........then get better...

My leathers, and kenya all do the same thing, that or if something dies back behind the rocks that I dont know about, and the nitrate gets a little high they will freak out. Id suggest testing the water, and maybe doing a change. I also add Bio Spyra when my tanik frreak out too to boost the good bacteria population.
Let us know how it does!!

We'd need to know the water parameters and other inhabitants to have much of a shot.

Where is the torch in the water-flow relative to the tree? Torch is a pretty potent customer, and softies and stonies can quarrel. You might try running carbon to remove any chemical warfare.

I have one as well and if the water temp gets above 81 it is not happy and shrinks back or falles over. If I drop the temp he perks back up. Just a thought. Also just as the others have said ware quality is key.
