Unhappy missing a clam and a clownfish..??

well, went away for the weekend and came home and my clam was tipped over and to my surprise when i turned it upright it was just a clean shell on the inside. also last night i noticed that one of my two clown fish was missing, i looked high and low and cannot see any pieces or parts.... anyone have any ideas, would a snowflake eel do this ? the eel is only 8" long and small compared to the clownfish 2" and the clam was about 3"

The clam likely died because it fell over and was eaten by scavengers or just disintegrated.

That small fish could very well have made a nice meal for a snowflake.
