Help ID
he was in my tank last night eating some pods. He would just run up on the (not swim) and start chowing down. Every section had a set of legs and the end (tail) looked like a shrimp. the feather things that flutter. It is about 2 inches long. I couldnt see any big claws or anything. any Ideas?

gonna have to agree with scubasteve, i had a brown one that i just managed to remove after breaking a rock in half (it went into my new sump from my old tank) and the body shape was exactly the same, just brown instead of whitish clear like yours. if you can get him out, go for it, if he doesn't seem to be bothering anything then it's up to you.

yeah mantis shrimp
sometimes they will distroy your fish and ripp them to pieces sometimes they won't there was a rumor they can break glass but idk about that |
