Painting Livingroom...Safe???

I am needing to paint my living room but of course i have this 130 gallon tank in there. Is it safe to paint in there if i cover it we'll? I am using latex paint which does not have much of a smell but rather safe than sorry.

I have painted around my tanks before without any trouble. just cover it when you are working in close proximity.

i would stress to have yourtank covered well until you yourself cant smell the paint anymore and have it well ventilated...as long as no spores get into the water i dont see a problem

Great thank-you for all the responses. I figured it was okay just needed to hear other people who did it.
