Across town tank upgrade.
I set up a new tank thinking it easier than moving a tank and fish at one time. I setup the new tank and let 55 pounds of dry rock cycle in the new tank. This started about 2 weeks ago. I recently grabbed some live rock and one fish from my other tank and put it into the new setup. A few days later everything seems ok. I'm at the point were I want to bring over the light, rest of the rock and fish. If my water tests ok can I toss it all in with out destorying everything?

Don't think so. Your new tank will cycle, that could take up to three months. When your amonia spikes everything in your tank will likely die. You could put in some more live rock to speed the cycle.

Wouldn't the rock from my previous tank already contain a good amount of the bacteria needed to complete the cycle or at least lessen the spike.
